When I talk about my new favorite obsession,
That has to be the matte lip cream series by NYX.
These heavily pigmented beauties give thick color on lips, makes it look fuller even, does not bleed around lips
and it's my new favorite so far. I plan to get more colors : Just ordered San Juan(Orange) from Amazon and might order Copenhagen(Burgendy). They also have some amazing nude shades(London n etc).
A little more than a lipstick, a little less than a sticky gloss.
The color I am wearing on my lips is NYX San Paulo(Suitable on all skin colors, $7)
It's almost a barbie like pink color on lips. I love it! Stays long. But wears off a bit when you eat or kiss. Apply double layer for increased stay even though it is opaque in one swipe. The lip cream has matte finish, which is superb. Its best to apply it over lip balm for extra moisturizing although it doesn't feel dry rather the texture is such that you don't feel it much on your lips. It goes on creamy and dries out matt. Its also very smooth to apply with the applicator.
After trying out a lot of lipsticks and gloss from different brands, it's my new favorite!
Best for travelers too, because it stays without looking overbearingly heavy..
And the names of the lip shades are named on Places : London, Istanbul, Copenhagen, Cannes.. etc etc.
In US, NYX is easily available on Target, CVS and Ulta. It costs $6.
However, when you order from Amazon it might be a little expensive with the shipping and on some popular shades the price listed are as $7.99.
You can also find this shade and other shades in India on Amazon. On Amazon India NYX is a little expensive compared to US. So get stock up from someone coming back from US.
